The Marshall 1930 Popular 18 watt turns this into a monster. This amp had a full modification done to convert it over to an 18 watt Mini Bluesbreakers all the way down to adding 2 extra preamp tubes & sockets. Most of the components have been changed, but it does retain a few of the original ceramic caps. The filter cap is an LCR brand, dating from 1997. The output transformer has also been changed, perhaps to accommodate more power, bringing it closer to 18w. Next to the new OT, someone has mounted two jacks, for the 8 ohm and 16 ohm taps on the transformer. With every dime. You fire this up and you will be overwhelmed of how bad ass it is. We have done at least a dozen of these, and we have one in the can. They are simply amazing... You will no be dissatisfied...
