Special order from '26 to around '35. No one knows the exact dates or how many were made. The striking Egyptian style designed inlays of glitter and candy color on the white Pearloid Bakelite head stock and fretboard are just stunning. Binding front and back in perfect condition. The body is mahogany with hand painted Poinsettias all over the complete Uke body, neck and headstock. Absolutely superb! Plus, the detail around the sound hole is unbelievable! It is in excellent condition and was family owned for generations. These ukes are so extremely rare and I'm not sure how many are left intact or even exist. This piece is the most highly regarded and sought after in the Uke world and collectors. It comes with the original case and again, in excellent condition. Smithsonian, perhaps...? They are looking for super rare Americana pieces.
