Hey Gang! We have another RARE one here....1961 Gretsch G6022 Rancher in Orange Finish. An all original incredible Western Style' Hillbilly Jumbo. It has that classic Gretsch snap and is a lot of fun to play, with of course a great action and smooth playability. Not another on the market! RARE~!!!! These guitars like to stay in the family - They are that special.
Condition wise, a few things to note: Typical to the Gretsch guitars of this era the binding has decided to loosen it's hold in a few places as well as some shrinkage. You can see in the photos a few spots that have chipped away or have become separated. Nothing is dangling, but it is a brittle material. The neck binding is actually very solid with only a small split at the 13th Fret. There are some beautiful finish cracks, but neck joint is solid, and there are no cracks in the wood whatsoever. All the hardware, frets, bridge, saddle, nut, screws, tuners, pickguard, truss rod cover, and strap button are all original to the guitar, and it comes with the original hard shell case! What a find!
